Our flock of traditional grass fed ewes was established in 1993. Hebridian ewes were crossed with a suffolk and Lleyn ram to give the lamb an incredible flavour, but with less fat than a modern breed. All our sheep are completely grass fed and life outside all year round. The lambs are butchered with care locally, hung to increase it's superb taste, then cut and packed to your specification.

Our Cattle herd was started in 1999 and stays outside all year doing a valuable job
perfect habitat for the iconic Cornish Chough. Originally a mixture of angus, hereford and rare
breed Gloucester cattle we have crossed with a Hereford bull to give gentle, placid cattle that
are easy to calve and do well on just grass. Suckler cows keep their calves with them in family
groups for upto a year meaning they are well grown healthy calves with little stress. We mostly
sell store cattle to other finishers but keep back a few fat cattle each year to offer our customers
traditionally finished beef.
